Coaches & Mentors

Jamie

Jamie is a 1st year coach with a PhD in theoretical physics and a passion for innovation. As a physics professor, co-founder of Cowork Tahoe & Untethered Workspace, and more, she brings expertise in science, technology, and entrepreneurship.

Jobe

Jobe has been involved with the team for 4 years now. He is a professional videographer & tinkerer and we are lucky to have his expertise and guidance.

David

With extensive experience in robotics and complex system design from his work at Tesla and now AMP, David provides invaluable guidance in systems thinking, design, and CAD for our FTC team.

Dillon

With a background in MedTech R&D and engineering at Johnson & Johnson, Dillon shares real-world expertise in robotics, visualization technologies, and product development that strongly supports our FTC team.

Margaux

A Caltech-trained mechanical engineer, Margaux Lopez works on the LSST Camera at the Vera C. Rubin Observatory. She shares expertise in complex mechanical systems, problem-solving, and engineering at scale with our team.

David

A dedicated mentor and tech entrepreneur, David brings valuable experience from his work in Silicon Valley startups. His passion for technology and community inspires our team to innovate and stay connected to what we love.

An MIT-educated Mechanical and Ocean Engineer, David Wise is a STEM educator and former coach of our team. He brings deep experience in mechanical design, prototyping, and embedded systems to guide our students
